Based on a recommendation from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, every child should see a pediatric dentist when their first tooth appears, or no later than his/her first birthday. During your first dentist appointment, we will focus on getting to know your little one while making them feel comfortable in a dental office. We will look at your child’s baby teeth, discuss how to keep them healthy and cavity-free, assess for normal dental development, and answer any questions you may have as a parent.
